Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services of Sustainable Design and Construction Consultancy ("SDC2"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

SDC2 provides architectural design, construction management, and consultancy services including:

  • Architectural design and planning
  • Construction project management
  • Renovation and retrofitting
  • Sustainable design consulting
  • Cost estimation and budgeting

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete project information
  • Obtain necessary permits and approvals
  • Ensure site access for inspections and work
  • Make timely payments as agreed in contracts
  • Communicate changes or concerns promptly

4. Project Terms

Each project will be governed by a separate written agreement that outlines specific scope of work, timelines, payment terms, and deliverables. In case of conflict, the project-specific agreement will prevail over these general terms.

5. Payments and Fees

Payment terms are specified in individual contracts. Late payments may incur interest charges. We reserve the right to suspend work if payments are not received according to agreed terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, plans, and other materials created by SDC2 remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon full payment, clients receive a license to use the designs for the intended project.

7. Limitation of Liability

SDC2 shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice. Upon termination, client shall pay for all work completed up to the termination date.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kigali, Rwanda.
